Biography

Dr. Christina DeJong is an Associate Professor in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. Her research focuses primarily on gender, sexuality and crime, with special emphases on victimization and incarceration. Recently, Dr. DeJong’s research has shifted to focus on mass violence and genocide, particularly as it affects women and LGBTQ+ communities worldwide.
